Job summary

Hillsborough County Public Schools in Riverview, Florida seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to conduct evaluations and provide educationally relevant treatment for students with speech and language disorders across grade levels.

The role works independently within scope of practice, reporting to the site administrator and/or Supervisor, Speech-Language, and requires licensure in Florida with possible ASHA CCC. Travel may be involved across district sites.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech-Language Pathology in Florida.
• ASHA CCC preferred or eligible for licensure.
• Chosen licensure supports school-based service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and evaluations of students for speech and language disorders.
• Report findings to parents, teachers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP processes.
• Provide services and direct instruction using multiple delivery models.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet goals.
• Document progress in accordance with policies and privacy rules.
• Train and supervise clinical fellows and graduate students as assigned.
• Collaborate with staff to support communication goals in education settings.
• Engage in professional learning to maintain licensure and certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
