Strides Therapy & Educational Services in Tampa, FL, seeks a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist to join Hillsborough County Public Schools. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, collaborating with educators and families to develop IEP-driven interventions.

You’ll work with school-age children, perform comprehensive evaluations, write progress notes, and participate in ongoing training and team meetings to support student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Valid limited state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Florida.
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom and beyond.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.

Position Overview

As a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within the school setting. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide evidence-based interventions to support student success.
