Qualifications

• High school diploma or accredited GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Reliable transportation & proof of auto insurance.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of body weight.
• Experience with individuals with IDD beneficial but not required.
• Attend daytime training during first weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach independence to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Provide caregiving, medical monitoring, and hygiene assistance.
• Support in group home or group day program settings.
• Assist with routines, schedules, and budgeting for daily living.

• Coordinate leisure activities and community involvement.
• Potential overtime opportunities depending on needs.
