The Bus Driver position will primarily consist of operating gas, diesel, electric, propane or CNG buses while observing state and city speed and safety regulations, as well as company customer service and safety policies.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
The essential functions of this position require frequent standing and walking, as well as regular sitting throughout the workday. Manual dexterity is frequently required, and repetitive finger motions such as typing occur more than one-third of the time. The role requires occasional lifting or exerting force, including frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds and up to 25 pounds. Lifting up to 50 pounds, 100 pounds, or more than 100 pounds is not required. The position also includes occasional reaching or stretching, climbing or balancing including the use of stairs, and crouching or stooping. Speaking and hearing are required regularly as part of normal communication within the role.
The position requires regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, as well as occasional work in wet or humid environments. Extreme cold and extreme heat are also conditions that may be encountered regularly. Exposure to fumes or airborne particles may occur occasionally. The role does not require exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, fire or explosion risks, electric shock hazards, prolonged vibration, or loud noise levels, as these are not associated with the essential duties of the job.
