Responsibilities

• Deliver bus to scheduled destination.
• Observe visual defects and perform pre/post-trip checks.
• Report emergency or imminent safety conditions to dispatcher.
• Report accidents immediately to dispatcher and complete accident report.
• Maintain DOT and OSHA certifications and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
• Perform other tasks to support and improve team operations.
• Conform with regulations, policies and work procedures.
• Comply with safety rules and use of safety equipment.
• All other duties assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Bus Driver position will primarily consist of operating gas, diesel, electric, propane or CNG buses while observing state and city speed and safety regulations, as well as company customer service and safety policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Observe any visual defects and checks operating systems before and after all deliveries.
• Report emergency or imminent safety conditions to dispatcher.
• Report accidents immediately to dispatcher and complete company accident report.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Physical Activity Requirements
