Job summary

A-Z Bus Sales, Inc. is seeking a full-time Bus Driver to operate gas, diesel, electric, propane or CNG buses in Texas. You will deliver buses to destinations while adhering to DOT/OSHA safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-delivery checks, reporting incidents, maintaining certifications, and ensuring customer service quality. The role requires a Class B CDL, passenger and air brake endorsements, and a medical certificate; expect local travel and a weekday

Qualifications

• Current, valid Class B CDL and Passenger Endorsement.
• Air Brake Endorsement / Certification.
• Current Medical Certificate.
• 2+ years of driving experience.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bus to scheduled destination.
• Check operating systems before and after deliveries for defects.
• Report emergencies or accidents to dispatcher immediately.
• Maintain all required DOT/OSHA certifications and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all company property in good condition.
• Comply with safety rules and company policies; follow instructions.
• Perform any other duties to support operations.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Bus Driver position will primarily consist of operating gas, diesel, electric, propane or CNG buses while observing state and city speed and safety regulations, as well as company customer service and safety policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Primary Responsibility, Scope of Work, KPI Management, complexity:

• Deliver bus to scheduled destination.
• Observe any visual defects and checks operating systems before and after all deliveries.
• Report emergency or imminent safety conditions to dispatcher.
• Report accidents immediately to dispatcher and complete company accident report.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
• Conform to all safety rules and use of appropriate safety equipment.
• All other duties assigned

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
