Job summary

A-Z Bus Sales Inc. seeks a dedicated Bus Driver to operate gasoline, diesel, electric, propane or CNG buses while adhering to state and city speed and safety regulations and company policies.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional overtime and local travel. The driver must maintain required DOT/OSHA certifications and report any safety concerns or incidents to the dispatcher.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) and Passenger Endorsement.
• Air Brake Endorsement/Certification.
• Current Medical certificate and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bus to scheduled destination.
• Observe visual defects and inspect systems before/after deliveries.
• Report emergencies or accidents to dispatcher and complete reports.
• Maintain DOT and OSHA certifications and company safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies.
• Perform other duties to support operations.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Bus Driver position will primarily consist of operating gas, diesel, electric, propane or CNG buses while observing state and city speed and safety regulations, as well as company customer service and safety policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Primary Responsibility, Scope of Work, KPI Management, complexity:

• Deliver bus to scheduled destination.
• Observe any visual defects and checks operating systems before and after all deliveries.
• Report emergency or imminent safety conditions to dispatcher.
• Report accidents immediately to dispatcher and complete company accident report.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
• Conform to all safety rules and use of appropriate safety equipment.
