Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Oak Park, IL is hiring full-time Room Servers with a 6am–2pm shift. You will provide hands-on table service in our on-site restaurant and assist with meal service at events, helping create a warm, exceptional dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal.
