Belmont Village Senior Living in Chicago is seeking a part-time Dining Room Server to provide attentive, personalized dining service in our on-site restaurant within the Assisted Living community.

You will take orders, deliver meals, help with event service, and keep the dining room welcoming. The schedule includes evenings, weekends and holidays, with a stable, team-oriented environment and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands‑on, hospitality oriented position.
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for Belmont Village employees to ensure operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on‑site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal.
