Position Summary

The Dietary Aide is responsible for setting up the dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs.

Assists the cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring scheduled meal times are met and following established policies and procedures within the dietary department to provide residents with high-quality service.

Essential Job Functions

1. Assist the cook/supervisor with food preparation and service, following specific procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
2. Deliver residents’ meal carts, set up, and clean dining areas to serve residents.
3. Record refrigerator temperatures accurately; clean and restock as needed.
4. Wash and store dishes, maintaining sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen.
5. Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Pay: $15.50 - $16/hour
