Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide homecare for an adult patient requiring G-tube care. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm. Competitive pay with weekly paychecks and a full benefits package.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, administering medications, and coordinating education and discharge planning as patient needs change. Requires active RN license, BLS, and state certification.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate as required by facility contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X‑Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care for homebound client(s).
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions as patient needs change.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Assesses patient status and communicates changes to physician or supervisor.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates care/education and discharge planning as needed.

Pay: $38 - $40 per hour

Maxim Healthcare in (Phoenix) is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with an adult patient in their home who is needing G-tube care and lifting is required. The shifts are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required


• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change


• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals


• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor


• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention


• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.


• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).


• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.


• Current BLS card.


• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
