Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Homecare Nurse to provide 1:1 in-home pediatric care for an 11-year-old with G-tube needs in Hampshire, IL. The role emphasizes thorough nursing assessment, care planning, and patient education in a home setting.

You will work evenings Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–9 PM with flexible weekend options, earning $34–$38 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time caregivers, along with paid training and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice (Illinois).
• Current Health Certificate as required by contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for clients receiving contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change.
• Performs therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes in response to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; monitors and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and program protocols, identifying education, coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
