The Community RN Career Direct Care Pathway placement at Tufts Medicine Lowell General is designed for registered nurses with varying levels of experience. Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• BLS certification current.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops and evaluates the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor care to patient needs.
• Directs patient care and assists team members as needed.
• Precepts and mentors new staff within the unit.
• Engages in professional development and departmental committees.
