PJS of Austin, LLC. is seeking a Full-Time Day Porter for Downtown Austin accounts. The role ensures lobbies and common areas stay clean and inviting between routine maintenance, contributing to a safe and welcoming building environment.

Applicants should be able to follow instructions, work independently or with a team, and lift up to 25 lbs. The position offers Monday–Friday hours with pay starting at $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Keep lobbies clean and presentable.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.
• Restock supplies in restrooms.
• Service kitchen, cafeteria, and break rooms before/after busy times.
• Perform touch-point cleaning to reduce illness.
• Respond to spills and cleaning emergencies.
• Remove safety hazards and keep entrances/parking lots clear.
• Remove litter and debris from entrances and parking lots.
• Other duties as assigned.

Full Time Day Porter (English Required)

Overview: PJS is hiring Full-Time Day Porters for our accounts located in and around Downtown Austin. The Day Porters will be responsible for making sure the building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times – especially between routine cleaning maintenance activities. They will also ensure the building is safe for all occupants if any unexpected incidents arise, like slippery floors or broken glass.

Responsibilities:

• Keep lobbies clean
• Keep common areas clean
• Keep restrooms clean
• Restock supplies in restrooms as necessary
• Service kitchen, cafeteria, and/or break rooms (particularly before and after busy times)
• Perform continuous touch-point cleaning to reduce the spread of illness by eliminating bacteria and germs
• Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies
• Remove or warn of safety hazards, such as objects in the way of pedestrians or wet floors
• Remove litter and debris from entrances and parking lots
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift objects up to 25lbs.
• Presents a neat and professional appearance
• Must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm

Pay Starting at $18.00 per hour
