Job summary

More Clean of Texas is hiring an entry‑level porter to support exterior maintenance for commercial and residential properties. You will perform routine manual labor to keep areas clean and safe for vehicles and pedestrians, using backpack blowers, handheld tools, and basic debris removal.

Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, with pay between $13.00 and $18.00 per hour depending on experience. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to follow both written and oral instructions.
• Ability to utilize Gmail and iPad technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual labor to maintain cleanliness and safety of properties.
• Detail properties with backpack blowers in designated areas.
• Utilize handheld tools and occasionally hand-pick debris.
• Sanitize company property such as trash cans and ash trays; replace trash can liners.
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks.

What to Expect

Porters work independently to perform routine manual labor involved in property maintenance to ensure cleanliness and safe conditions for vehicles and pedestrians. Our porters detail the properties with the use of backpack blowers in designated areas, utilization of handheld tools and the occasional hand‑picking of various debris, sanitation of company property such as trash cans and ash trays, and replacement of trash can liners. This is an entry‑level position. Hours of operation are 8 AM - 5 PM.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, our drivers are routinely required to drive, stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, and/or bend. They must occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
