Job summary

Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery in Middlebury, VT, is hiring a Laboratory Technician for full-time. Shifts are 10 hours, between 4am and 5pm, with a flexible schedule including rotating weekends and holidays. Starting pay is $26.15 per hour.

Responsibilities include performing tests on milk, cheese, whey, and samples; inputting data into software; creating reports and charts; ensuring quality standards; and working with flexibility to meet deadlines. Vermont certification is required after training.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on milk, finished cheese and whey products, environmental samples, and ingredients.

• Become certified by the State of Vermont for testing under the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance.
• Demonstrate flexibility, multi-tasking, and ability to meet deadlines.
