Job summary

Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery in Vermont is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform tests on milk, cheese, whey and environmental samples to uphold our quality standards.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, ability to obtain Pasteurized Milk Ordinance certification, and strong data-entry skills with reporting duties. 10-hour shifts, rotating weekends/holidays, and pay starting at $26.15/hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain Vermont certification for Pasteurized Milk Ordinance testing (after training).
• Experience with data entry and generating reports using software.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on milk, finished cheese and whey products, environmental samples, and ingredients to meet quality standards.
• Must become certified by the State of Vermont to perform all testing under the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance.
• Input analytical data into software, run reports, and create charts/graphs; proficient with Microsoft Office.
