Job summary

Croasdaile Village is seeking a Custodian to maintain clean and orderly living and common areas at our Durham, NC community. This full-time role focuses on floor care and general upkeep in resident spaces, hallways, and offices.

You will perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and notify management about repairs. The position values courtesy, safety, and teamwork in a supportive retirement community.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or equivalent experience.
• Several years of related cleaning experience or training.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum hallways, stairs and office space.
• Empty tenants' trash and garbage containers.
• Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Clean snow and debris from sidewalk.
• Assist in the moving or relocating of residents.
