Job summary

Croasdaile Village is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for part-time roles in our continuing care retirement community in Durham, NC. You will care for residents in skilled nursing, following directions from nursing and medical staff, while maintaining a compassionate, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vitals, documenting care, and supporting residents’ independence.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in NC is required.
1 year minimal related experience and/or training preferred but will hire new CNAs.
HS Diploma or GED.
Experience in geriatrics care, SNF or LTC preferred.
CPR certified or ability to obtain once hired.

Responsibilities

Answer signal light, bells, or intercom to determine patients’ needs.
Bath, dress and undress patients.
Serve and collect food trays and feed patients.
Transport patients or assist them to walk.
Drape patients for examinations and treatment; assist with instruments and lighting.
Turn and reposition bedfast patients to prevent bedsores.
Change bed linen and run errands; direct visitors and answer calls.
Record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
Prepare and store dressing packs and supplies; assist with provisioning.
