Job summary

Croasdaile Village in Durham, NC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean rooms and halls across cottages, apartments, village commons, nursing home, assisted living and dementia care. You will perform duties such as making beds, cleaning lobbies, floors, rugs, and windows, and restrooms while maintaining courteous interactions with residents and staff.

Responsibilities include transporting waste, replenishing supplies, changing light bulbs and ensuring a neat, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, counts, folds, marks or carries linens and makes beds.
• Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairs.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors; cleans rugs and draperies.
• Dusts furniture; cleans walls, ceilings, and windows; empties waste.
• Transports trash to disposal area; replenishes bathroom supplies; changes bulbs.
• Interact courteously with managers, residents, vendors and associates.
