Description

Kimberton Whole Foods in Ottsville is seeking a full-time Cleaning Associate to join their team.

Set Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $17 hourly to start

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning all store areas, including floors, glass, restrooms, outdoor parking, recycling, carts, walls, ceilings, windows, HVAC vents, and more.
• Restocking and cleaning bathrooms, break rooms, and back-stock areas.
• Operating floor scrubbers and maintaining supplies.
• Emptying trash and recycling bins.
• Ensuring safe store entrance and exits, especially during inclement weather.
• Working with the Store Manager on equipment and supply needs.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA and other legal guidelines.
• Performing minor maintenance tasks like light painting, changing bulbs, and assembling carts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience in custodial or janitorial work.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to read labels, distinguish colors and smells, communicate effectively.
• Lifting up to 50-75 pounds.
• Bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling.
• Walking and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cold environments.
