Job Summary

The Daytime Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
• Stock locker rooms with appropriate supplies and paper products.
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
• Follow the “Lost and Found Policy” and promptly turn in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Honesty and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Demonstrate diplomacy and appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
• Availability weekdays 8 AM - 4 PM and one day on weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking continually during shift.
• Reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during shift.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Occasionally lift over 50 pounds.

Background screening is required for employment.

Compensation: $9.00 per hour.
