Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support respiratory care for neonatal to geriatric patients. You will document procedures, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide arterial blood gas analysis and ventilator support in accordance with hospital protocol.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science and NBRC credentials; BLS is required, and 1+ years of critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• NBRC credential is preferred but not required for all units.

Responsibilities

• Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient flow and therapy.
• Performs arterial blood gases analysis, co-oximetry, and quality controls as needed.
• Maintains and adjusts airway management including ventilator support per policy.
