AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energy-driven Cook to join our team at Malone University in Canton, OH. This is a full-time role with growth opportunities within a respected national food service company.

You will prepare ingredients, maintain sanitation, and contribute to daily menus with a focus on quality and service. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of cooking experience and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience with food preparation
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, safety and sanitation
• Exceptional food presentation skills
• Familiarity with general kitchen equipment/appliances

Responsabilités

• Provide a pleasant dining experience for customers
• Assemble, combine, and cook ingredients
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen
• Attend to the detail and presentation of each order
• Place and expedite orders
• Prepare ingredients by following recipes; slicing, chopping, mixing
• Prepare hot meals by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, broiling; assemble and refrigerate cold items
• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation and safety procedures
• Date, label, and rotate all food items
• Store leftovers per standards
• Contribute to daily, holiday and theme menus with the team
