Laurel Parc at Bethany Village in Portland, OR is seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team. The role offers a low-pressure, professional kitchen with work-life balance. You will work in a senior living community, following recipes and presentation standards for resident meals.

Schedule: 11:30am - 7:30pm. Pay range: $23.00 - $23.50 hourly. This position includes benefits for full-time staff and opportunities for growth within Central Bethany’s Bethany Village portfolio.

Qualifications

• Must understand culinary terms and safety.
• Experience with kitchen operations and equipment.
• Ability to read work orders and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Understand culinary terms, techniques and safety.
• Complete inventory, stocking and ordering items.
• Ensure presentation of food items adheres to guidelines.
• Follow recipes and scale ingredients for resident meals.
• Keep kitchen running efficiently with prep and cooking.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workstations and area.
