Job summary

Suncoast Hospice of Hillsborough, a member of Empath Health, seeks a caring CNA to provide patient-centered care at our Care Center in Tampa. The position follows a dayshift schedule: 7:45am–8:15pm, three shifts per week, with every other weekend.

The CNA delivers compassionate support under the direction of a licensed nurse. You will perform personal care tasks per the Plan of Care, monitor patient conditions, and report changes promptly, while maintaining strict confidentiality and dignity for

Qualifications

• Valid Florida CNA license is required.
• Valid CPR certification from ARC or AHA.
• One to three years of training/experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Perform personal care tasks per the Plan of Care.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA and professional standards.
