Job summary

Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring Hospice Care Center Registered Nurse to join our Care Center team in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. This on-site role focuses on compassionate hospice care for terminally ill patients and their families in an inpatient setting.

You will assess needs, coordinate care, manage symptoms, educate families, and supervise LPNs and aides. The position requires a Florida RN license and at least 1 year of bedside nursing experience,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of bedside nursing experience.
• Florida RN license required.
• Experience in caring for terminally ill patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and coordinate hospice care in inpatient Care Center.
• Manage symptoms and provide education and support to patients and families.
• Oversee LPNs and aides in the GIP environment.
• Float to other centers as needed.

The Care Center RN provides compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, managing symptoms, providing education and support, and overseeing LPNs and aides.
