Job summary

Lindsay Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation located in Lindsay, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care according to each resident’s care plan and supervisor directions. You will assist residents, observe changes, document observations, and help maintain a warm, safe environment.

CPR certification is preferred and a valid state CNA license is required by law. Training and teamwork with the nursing staff are emphasized in this position.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, or charts in an informative manner.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and report any unauthorized access to information.
