Job summary

Hayward-Healthcare-and-Wellness-Center- is looking for a caring Nursing Assistant to provide routine care under supervision. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health and report changes to the Charge Nurse to maintain high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include helping with meals, dressing, bathing, positioning and mobility, while upholding infection control and safety policies. A CNA license or enrollment in a CNA program is required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a CNA program or have a CNA license.
• At least 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical CNA experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nursing tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Keep residents clean, comfortable and well-presented.
• Assist with meals, mobility, bathing and personal care.
• Make rounds, observe residents and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Document care provided and follow facility policies.
• Respond promptly to call lights and safety procedures.
