Job summary

The Atrium at Rocky Hill, a Benchmark Senior Living Community specializing in Memory Care, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time on 1st shift.

Shifts are 7:00 am–3:00 pm with every-other weekend rotation. Starting pay is $19.25 per hour. The role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care in a warm, home-like environment and supporting residents with daily activities and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.

Requirements

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
