Benchmark at Hamden is hiring a Full Time CNA for the 2nd shift, 3p-11p, Tuesday to Saturday. We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team and deliver care in a warm, home-like environment.

The role involves assisting residents with daily activities, documenting care, and engaging residents in meaningful activities while providing emotional support. Benefits are available to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred but not required.
• Experience with residents with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive high‑quality care.
• Other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
