The role blends clinical duties with front-office responsibilities to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive experience.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will perform vital signs, assist with exams, manage registrations, verify insurance, collect payments, and support scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
• Ability to navigate an electronic medical record and practice management system.
• Experience with patient registration, appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and referrals is preferred.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, schedule appointments, and registrations.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and collect payments.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, including routine testing.
• Provide front-office support and telecommunication duties as needed.
• Balance clinical and administrative tasks while maintaining patient flow and confidentiality.
• Provide coverage for PSR staff as needed.
