Job summary

Wilson Health in Sidney, OH, seeks a Full Time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for our Urgent Care locations. The APP delivers compassionate, high-quality care for adults and children with acute, non-emergent conditions, including exams, minor injuries, and patient education.

The role involves three 12-hour shifts weekly at Sidney and Minster locations, with rotating weekends/holidays. Board certification and BLS are required; DOT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board Certification/Current State Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Urgent Care practice or equivalent.
• BLS Required.
• DOT FMCSA Medical Examiner Certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate delivery of high-quality medical care to adults and children in acute, non-emergent care settings.
• Perform physical examinations, manage fractures/splinting, and educate patients and families.
• Use diagnostic testing appropriately and coordinate care with the team.

Shift and Scheduling Obligations

• Clinic hours of operation are 8am - 8pm, seven days a week.
• Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays.
• Will provide coverage at both the Sidney, Ohio and Minster, Ohio Urgent Care locations.

The Sidney Urgent Care is located on our hospital campus and is staffed with full-time clinical support and averages 20-25 visits per day. Epic EMR.

You demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise treating patients in need of acute, non-emergent care, including but not limited to physical examinations, splinting, fracture care, communication/education for patients and families and appropriate use of diagnostic testing.
