Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant I for a Full-Time role at AMG Family Medicine in Millburn, NJ. The CMA will support physicians with patient intake, vital signs, specimen collection, and clerical duties in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Requirements include High School Diploma, CCMA certification, and BLS. Preferred candidates have 2+ years outpatient experience and familiarity with EPIC EMR. Schedule: Mon–Fri with varied hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT.
• 2+ Years Experience in outpatient, ambulatory setting (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in Health Care services.
• Associate's degree in Medical Care or related field.
• BLS on hire.
• EPIC or similar EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under physician supervision.
• Record vital signs, collect specimens, and administer medications as directed.
• Assist with patient intake, scheduling, and medical records updates.
• Maintain clean and prepared examination rooms and assist with examinations.
• Guide patients through the health care system and coordinate referrals as needed.
