Job summary

Corewell Health in Dearborn is seeking a full-time Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to perform comprehensive echocardiography, including 2D imaging, Doppler, m-mode, transesophageal studies, and stress echocardiography. You will educate medical staff and may mentor students in ultrasound techniques.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and ARDMS credentials, with BLS/ARC on hire. Join a team dedicated to high-quality patient care in a Cardiology HOPD setting in Dearborn.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; graduate of diagnostic ultrasound program or equivalent.
• BLS/ARC required upon hire or ARC equivalent.
• ARDMS certifications in Cardiac/General/Ob/Gyn/Abdomen as applicable; RDCS/RCS/VT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations including 2D imaging, spectral and color Doppler, m-mode, and transesophageal procedures.
• Conduct exercise and pharmacologic echocardiograms and LV opacification studies.
• Educate and mentor medical personnel and students in performance, application and pathology of cardiac ultrasound.
