Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Full-Time Supervisor to lead campus-store operations and ensure an outstanding customer experience. You will coach team members, support opening/closing tasks, and help execute store priorities with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You'll work year-round on a flexible schedule (30–40 hours weekly), including evenings, weekends, and peak periods. Strong communication and retail leadership are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and provide direction to team members.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work 30–40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Open/close responsibilities and act as Manager-on-Duty when assigned.
• Coach and support store team members to meet priorities and standards.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, and POS transactions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Partner with store leadership to drive operational excellence.
