Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Full-Time Campus Store Team Member to join our vibrant campus store. You will deliver exceptional customer service, help students locate materials, and keep the sales floor organized and welcoming.

You will operate the POS system, support inventory and receiving, and work with teammates to meet daily priorities in a fast-paced retail environment. The role offers full-time hours and competitive rewards, including benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule of at least 30 hours per week including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by greeting customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials, school supplies, apparel, gifts, and other merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to accurately process transactions, including cash, credit, and financial aid purchases.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising, replenishment, recovery, and housekeeping.
• Support daily store operations by assisting with inventory, receiving merchandise, order fulfillment, and other tasks.
• Develop product knowledge and stay informed about merchandise, promotions, and store services to confidently assist customers.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to accomplish daily priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized store reflecting Barnes & Noble College brand.
