Job summary

Thomas Cuisine is hiring a Cashier/Retail Associate (Full-Time) at the College Café on the West Valley College campus in Saratoga, CA. Compensation is $19 per hour with a Monday-Thursday schedule from 7:30am to 8pm, on-site duties, and a focus on friendly service and accuracy at the register.

Join a dynamic dining team and help deliver a great campus experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors while maintaining a clean, welcoming retail space and supporting meal service operations.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or retail experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification and State Food Handlers Card preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Set up cashier bank and document cash transactions.
• Assist customers and refer to appropriate department when needed.
• Stock and maintain refrigerators and displays.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Provide exceptional service to all guests.
