Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. The role includes operating the POS, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining cleanliness of cashier and coffee stations.

Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with prior cashier and food service experience preferred. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $19.19 per hour and benefits associated with Bon Appétit and Compass Group.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier and food service experience is preferred.
• Availability to work full-time including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean.
• Performs cashier duties using the POS system and handles cash receipts with accuracy.
• Performs general cleaning duties; removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Inventories and restocks supplies and food products.
• Sets up serving line and ensures proper food temperatures are monitored.
