Summary
Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Ensures adherence to production/display guidelines for bakery products to promote sales. Operates within sanitation guidelines set by the company and state.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
• Greet customers with a smile, make eye contact, and thank them for their patronage.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, service, and sanitation.
• Maintain inventory of Deco Pac supplies with the Bakery Manager, based on yearly physical counts.
• Maintain standards for cake varieties, including seasonal colors and buttercream options.
• Assist in managing production and shrinkage according to company guidelines.
• Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and utensils.
• May oversee bakery staff in the absence of the manager and first clerk.
• Provide excellent customer service, including handling special cake orders.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.

Education and Experience
6-12 months of related experience, basic literacy, computer skills, positive performance reviews, and strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to operate bakery equipment and perform physical tasks as required.
