Sodexo is hiring a Baker at Minnesota State University Moorhead. You will prepare breads, pastries and other baked items following recipes and standards to ensure high quality and presentation.

Cast into a role that supports guest satisfaction and culinary excellence, with emphasis on accuracy, timing and cleanliness. The position requires the ability to stand long hours, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 years of related work experience.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients, mix doughs, shape and bake items.
• Regulate oven temperatures and monitor baking times.
• Set up and stock the bake shop area; maintain storage, labeling and dating.
• Care for cleanliness and organization in the bakery area.
• Attend shifts on time; be able to stand for extended periods.
