Fastenal Co. is seeking a full-time Sales Associate for our Harrison, OH branch located at 10051 Simonson Ave. This role focuses on B2B sales and delivering value through a consultative approach to build new partnerships and grow an existing book of business.

You will coordinate resources to meet customer needs, conduct local sales calls in a company vehicle, and contribute to branch success. The position offers onboarding, potential flexible scheduling after performance goals, and full-time

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to use a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR related work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Exhibit strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell.
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Demonstrate problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam).

Responsabilités

• Supporting business-to-business (B2B) sales and customer service activities.
• Providing value to customers through a consultative sales approach.
• Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Performing local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
