Job summary

Westminster Oaks is seeking an Assistant Cook for a full-time opening. You will prepare and serve quality meals including salads, cold sandwiches and pantry items under the supervision of a cook, for residents, guests and staff.

A minimum of 12 months' experience in a full-service culinary setting is required. Must have a Florida SafeStaff certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of date of hire. High School or better.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves quality meals including salads, cold sandwiches and pantry items.
• Will prepare and bake hot food items under the instruction of a cook.
• Distributes prepared food to all service areas; restocks as needed.
• Cleans and maintains the station following safety and sanitation practices.
• Assists with cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
