The role provides administrative and clerical support to the executive director and program, serving as a liaison between clients and operations, while maintaining and entering data across systems and generating reports as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 months of related work experience.
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher and experience in education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative & clerical support to executive director and program.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and program, administrative, and technical operations.
  • Proofread and edit documents for content, context, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Enter data from forms, records and/or reports using student information database software.
  • Utilize a variety of software to produce documents, spreadsheets, visual aids and promotional materials.
  • Maintain filing and records-keeping systems.
  • Conduct research using a variety of resources to generate reports, solve departmental issues, and find new technology solutions.
  • Order and maintains office supply inventory.
  • Schedule vehicle reservations as needed.
  • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner; andPerform other duties as assigned.

This position is located at Atlanta Tech's South campus just south of Downtown Atlanta.Under the direct supervision of the Dual Achievement Program Executive Director, the Full-Time Administrative Assistant I provides administrative and clerical support to the unit.
