Job summary

Advocate Health Cabarrus is seeking an Occupational Therapist to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help patients maximize independence during acute care hospitalization. You will provide evidence-based, patient-centered OT services, support early mobility, discharge planning, and achieve functional goals in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, planning OT programs, supervising assistants and students, documenting care, and communicating progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in OT from an accredited OT program.
• Active OT license in the state.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises OT staff and students.
• Evaluates patients and develops care plans.
• Documents evaluations and progress notes.
• Communicates with physicians and care team.
