Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide bedside evaluations, hands-on treatment, and patient education to help individuals regain independence within an interdisciplinary care setting.

Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy is required, along with state OT license and BLS. This is a 40-hour per week, 1st shift (M-F) position with weekend and holiday rotation in a structured inpatient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required.
• Applicable state license for OT required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct therapy services to patients admitted to a level of care where service provision is required 7 days a week, including holidays.
• Evaluates patients, selects and administers assessment techniques, synthesizes information to establish appropriate patient care plan.
• Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, discharge notes and treatment charges.
