Job summary

Silverado is hiring a Resident Engagement (Activities) Assistant in Frederick, MD to bring joy, engagement, and purpose to residents’ daily lives through recreational programs. You will assist in planning daily activities, organize memory enrichment sessions, and support music/occupational therapy while promoting participation and celebrating achievements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

Full‑time, AM shift, flexible shift, 40hrs/week

Anticipated Pay Range:

$18 - $20 USD
