Silverado Calabasas, a memory care innovator ranked in the top 10 nationwide by Fortune Magazine Best Workplaces in Aging Services, is hiring a Resident Engagement (Activities) Assistant to bring joy, engagement, and purpose to residents’ daily lives through recreational programming.

This role blends energy, empathy, and imagination to create meaningful moments while planning and leading activities, organizing memory enrichment sessions, and supporting therapy activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Responsibilities

Schedule: Part Time, AM shift, Saturday - Monday

Pay Range: $20 - $24 USD
