Silverado in Bellingham is seeking a Resident Engagement Assistant to lead daily activity programs and coordinate memory-enrichment activities for residents in a supportive, dementia-friendly environment.

You will assist with planning, materials prep, and collaboration with therapy teams, while fostering joy and participation among residents. This part-time role offers training, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

Schedule: Part Time, AM shift, Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Anticipated pay range

$21 - $25 USD
