Job summary

Silverado Senior Living Management Inc. in San Juan Capistrano invites applications for a Resident Engagement (Activities) Assistant to bring joy, engagement, and purpose to residents living with memory impairment.

You will assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning daily activity programs, organize memory enrichment activities, encourage participation, and prepare materials for recreational sessions, including music and occupational therapy support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working around animals.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Fortune Magazine Best Workplace in Aging Services.

• Paid training and strong internal mobility.

Schedule: Full Time, AM shift, Sunday - Thursday

Anticipated pay range

$20 — $22 USD
