Job summary

Silverado Encinitas is a memory care leader seeking a dedicated Resident Engagement (Activities) Assistant. The role focuses on bringing joy, engagement, and purpose to residents’ daily lives through creative recreational programming, guided by a compassionate team in a memory care environment.

You’ll plan and lead daily activity programs, organize memory enrichment activities, and encourage participation while celebrating achievements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs).

• Paid training and strong internal mobility.

Schedule: Full Time, AM shift, Tuesday - Saturday

Anticipated pay range

$20 - $22 USD
